    Applicable Well Types

    1. Small-Bore/Micro-Bore Wells

Well Condition Features: Wellbore diameter ≤ 100mm, thin-walled casing wells (e.g., φ73mm/φ89mm casing), small-diameter open holes, and medium-shallow wells with depth ≤ 2000m.

    2. Medium-Temperature Corrosive Wells

Well Condition Features: Conventional/unconventional shallow oil & gas wells with bottomhole temperature of 150℃-200℃, containing corrosive media such as H₂S/CO₂/Cl⁻, and well depth of 1000-3000m.

    3. Medium-Shallow Vertical/Low-Deviation Wells

Well Condition Features: Vertical wells or low-deviation directional wells with build-up sections ≤ 45°, well depth ≤ 3000m, bottomhole temperature ≤ 200℃, and no complex trajectories with high torque or friction.

    4. Shallow Geothermal/Hydrogeological Wells

Well Condition Features: Medium-temperature shallow geothermal wells and hydrogeological exploration wells with bottomhole temperature of 120℃-200℃, well depth ≤ 2500m, and some intervals containing high-salinity formation water.

    5. Shallow CBM/Coal Mine Logging Wells

Well Condition Features: Shallow coalbed methane development wells (depth ≤ 1500m) and small-diameter detection wells in underground coal mines, with environments containing trace methane and highly corrosive formation water.

    Strictly Inapplicable Scenarios

    1. High-deviation wells (>60°) / long-horizontal-section horizontal wells (horizontal section >500m).

    2. Deep / ultra-deep wells (depth >4000m).

    3. Ultra-high temperature wells (bottomhole temperature >200℃).

    4. Tool weight >80kg (will quickly exceed the maximum recommended working tension of 2.75kN, significantly reducing cable service life or causing immediate breakage).

    5. Large-bore wells (wellbore diameter >200mm).

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What are the main wellbore size limitations for these cables?
A1: These cables are ideally suited for small-bore and micro-bore wells with a wellbore diameter of 100mm or less. They are not recommended for large-bore wells exceeding 200mm in diameter.
Q2: What is the maximum temperature limit these cables can withstand?
A2: The cables feature FEP insulation material rated up to 200℃ (392℉). They should not be used in ultra-high temperature wells where the bottomhole temperature exceeds 200℃.
Q3: Can these cables be used in highly corrosive well environments?
A3: Yes, they are highly suitable for corrosive environments containing H₂S, CO₂, and Cl⁻, thanks to their 316L or A825 stainless steel tube armoring.
Q4: What is the maximum depth and tension limit for safe operations?
A4: The maximum recommended well depth is 3000 meters. The cable has a breaking strength of 5.5kN and a maximum working tension limit of 2.75kN. Exceeding these limits, especially with tools weighing over 80kg, may cause immediate breakage.
Q5: Are these cables suitable for horizontal and high-deviation directional wells?
A5: They are suitable for vertical or low-deviation directional wells with build-up sections ≤ 45°. They are strictly inapplicable for high-deviation wells (>60°) or long-horizontal-section wells (horizontal section >500m).
