GX-GG-2B1-2A1a-6.35 ( 1/4”), 6.35mm, 2 SM+2 MM, 316L/A825 Armor Optical Fiber

This is an optical fiber logging cable with a structure of 2B1 single-mode fiber and 2A1a multi-mode fiber, totaling 4 fibers, and an outer diameter of 3.2 mm. Used for DTS, DAS, DVS, High SpeedData Transmission, Real Time Monitoringwhile well intervention, VSP.

    Applicable Well Types:

    1.Conventional Oil & Gas Wells

    Adaptable Well Types: Medium deep vertical wells (depth ≤ 4000m), medium deviation directional wells (build up section ≤ 60°), medium shallow cased wells (φ89mm/φ114mm casing), medium shallow open hole wells.

    Typical Applications:Medium deep oil & gas exploration wells, dynamic monitoring of conventional production wells, cased well completion monitoring, open hole exploration logging.

    2. Unconventional Oil & Gas Wells

    Adaptable Well Types:Medium shallow coalbed methane (CBM) wells (depth ≤ 2500m), shale gas long radius horizontal wells (horizontal section ≤ 1000m), tight oil & gas development wells.

    Typical Applications: Production monitoring of CBM development wells, shale gas horizontal well fracturing monitoring, tight reservoir dynamic monitoring, permanent monitoring of unconventional wells.

    3. Other Exploration & Engineering Wells

    Adaptable Well Types: Medium shallow geothermal wells (bottomhole temperature ≤ 150℃, depth ≤ 2500m), hydrogeological exploration wells, underground coal mine monitoring wells, medium shallow water injection wells.

    Typical Applications:Medium temperature geothermal resource monitoring, groundwater hydrological data collection, coal mine underground gas monitoring, water injection profile monitoring.

    Strictly Inapplicable Scenarios

    1.Ultra deep wells (depth > 4000m): 10kN breaking strength cannot support total tension of cable weight + logging tool weight, high risk of cable breakage.

    2.High deviation wells (> 60°) / short radius horizontal wells (build up rate > 12°/100ft): Insufficient torsion and friction resistance; minimum bending diameter (800mm) cannot match high build trajectories, easily causing fiber breakage and signal failure.

    3.Ultra high temperature wells (bottomhole temperature > 150℃): Exceeds rated temperature, causing FEP insulation aging, increased fiber attenuation, and monitoring failure.

    4.Severe corrosive wells (high H₂S/CO₂ concentration): Standard 316L/A825 stainless steel cannot resist long term severe corrosion, leading to armor rust and fiber damage.

    5.Ultra high pressure wells (pressure > 140MPa): Exceeds rated pressure resistance, risking seal failure, structural damage, and safety hazards.
