G2FBB-11×11 is a premium 11-core flat logging cable designed for efficient multi-signal transmission in confined downhole environments. Manufactured in China, this cable features high-quality fluoroplastic insulation and durable steel tape armor, ensuring reliability and durability in challenging applications. Its compact flat profile allows for easy installation in tight spaces, while the impressive temperature rating of 150℃ and breaking strength of 12kN make it perfect for downhole tool internal wiring and short-distance logging operations. As one of the leading suppliers in the industry, our factory guarantees exceptional quality and performance in every cable we produce, tailored to meet the needs of various logging applications

    Applicable Well Types

    1. Cased Hole Short-Distance Logging & Monitoring Wells (Best Match)

Well conditions: Conventional cased wells (φ114 mm to φ139.7 mm casing), well depth ≤ 5500 m, bottomhole temperature ≤ 150℃. Used for internal wiring of downhole tools and short-distance signal transmission between sensors and the main control unit.

    2. MWD/LWD Tool Internal Connection Wells

Well conditions: Medium-deep vertical wells and low-deviation directional wells (inclination ≤ 45°), well depth ≤ 5500 m, bottomhole temperature ≤ 150℃, with no severe vibration or torsion. Suitable for signal transmission inside measurement-while-drilling tools.

    3. Production Logging Tool String Connection Wells

Well conditions: Cased production wells, water injection wells, and gas injection wells, well depth ≤ 5500 m, bottomhole temperature ≤ 150℃. Used for connecting multiple sensors (flow rate, pressure, temperature) in production logging tool strings.

    4. Medium-Temperature Geothermal & Hydrogeological Monitoring Wells

Well conditions: Medium-shallow geothermal wells and hydrogeological exploration wells, well depth ≤ 4500 m, bottomhole temperature ≤ 150℃. Suitable for multi-parameter monitoring signal transmission in limited space.

    5. Coalbed Methane & Mine Underground Detection Wells

Well conditions: Shallow coalbed methane wells (≤ 2000 m) and mine underground small-diameter detection wells, temperature ≤ 150℃, narrow space. Suitable for flat cable layout in limited tool space.

    Strictly Inapplicable Scenarios

    1. High-Deviation Wells (> 45°) / Long Horizontal Section Wells.

    2. Ultra-Deep Wells (> 6000 m) — The 12 kN breaking strength is insufficient to bear the total tension of long-distance self-weight and tool load, leading to a high breakage risk.

    3. High-Temperature Wells (> 150℃).

    4. Severe Corrosive Wells with High H₂S/CO₂ Concentration.

    5. Heavy-Duty Main Logging Cable Applications — It is designed for internal connection and short-distance transmission, not suitable for serving as the main cable for heavy instrument lowering.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q What is the maximum well depth this cable is rated for?
This cable is rated for well depths up to 5500 m under standard operating conditions. For ultra-light load scenarios, it may be considered up to 6000 m, but use beyond this depth is not recommended due to insufficient breaking strength (12 kN) to safely support the combined weight of the cable and tool string.
Q Can this cable be used in high-temperature geothermal wells exceeding 150℃?
No. This cable has a rated maximum temperature of 150℃. It is not suitable for wells where bottomhole temperatures exceed this threshold. For high-temperature geothermal wells (>150℃), a cable with higher thermal-grade insulation materials should be selected.
Q Is this cable suitable for horizontal drilling or high-deviation directional wells?
This cable is designed for wells with an inclination of 45° or less. It is not recommended for high-deviation wells (>45°) or long horizontal sections, as the flat cable structure and mechanical strength are not optimized for the complex stress conditions in such wellbore geometries.
Q What casing sizes are compatible with this cable?
This cable is compatible with conventional cased wells using casing sizes ranging from φ114 mm to φ139.7 mm. Its flat, compact profile makes it particularly well-suited for deployment in narrow downhole tool spaces and small-diameter wellbores.
Q Can this cable handle corrosive downhole environments with H₂S or CO₂?
This cable is not recommended for use in severely corrosive environments with high concentrations of H₂S or CO₂. Exposure to such aggressive chemicals may compromise the integrity of the armor and insulation materials over time. A specialized corrosion-resistant cable should be selected for such conditions.
Q Can this cable be used as the main logging cable for lowering heavy instruments?
No. This cable is specifically engineered for internal tool connections and short-distance signal transmission between sensors and the main control unit. It is not designed to serve as a primary load-bearing logging cable for lowering heavy downhole instruments, as its 12 kN breaking strength is insufficient for such heavy-duty applications.
