Fiber-optic Permanent Encapsulated Cable
FO-PEC cables are permanently installed either cemented in behind the casing or strapped to the production tubing. The optical fibers can be used to sense temperature and listen to well bore activities along the entire length of the cable and can be used for telemetry to point fiber optic sensors, such as pressure sensors and strain sensors.
