    Applicable Well Types

    1 Small-Bore / Micro-Bore Wells (Best Matching Core Advantage)

    Well Condition Features: Wellbore diameter ≤ 100mm, thin-walled casing wells (e.g., φ73mm / φ89mm casing), small-diameter open holes, and medium-shallow wells with depth ≤ 2000m.

2 Medium-Temperature Corrosive Oil & Gas Wells (Matching Temperature Resistance + Corrosion Resistance)

Well Condition Features: Conventional / unconventional shallow oil & gas wells with bottomhole temperature of 150℃–200℃, containing corrosive media such as H₂S / CO₂ / Cl⁻, and well depth of 1000–3000m.

    3 Medium-Shallow Conventional Vertical Wells / Low-Deviation Directional Wells

Well Condition Features: Vertical wells or low-deviation directional wells with build-up sections ≤ 45°, well depth ≤ 3000m, bottomhole temperature ≤ 200℃, and no complex trajectories with high torque or friction.

4 Shallow Geothermal Wells / Medium-Temperature Hydrogeological Wells

Well Condition Features: Medium-temperature shallow geothermal wells and hydrogeological exploration wells with bottomhole temperature of 120℃–200℃, well depth ≤ 2500m, and some intervals containing high-salinity formation water.

5 Shallow Coalbed Methane Wells / Underground Coal Mine Logging Wells

Well Condition Features: Shallow coalbed methane development wells (depth ≤ 1500m) and small-diameter detection wells in underground coal mines, with environments containing trace methane and highly corrosive formation water.

    Strictly Inapplicable Scenarios

    High-deviation wells (>60°) / long-horizontal-section horizontal wells (horizontal section >500m).

    Deep / ultra-deep wells (depth >4000m).

Ultra-high temperature wells (bottomhole temperature >200℃).

Tool weight >80kg will quickly exceed the maximum recommended working tension (2.75kN), significantly reducing cable service life or causing immediate breakage.

    Large-bore wells (wellbore diameter >200mm).

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q What is the maximum well depth this cable is recommended for?

This cable is recommended for wells with a depth of up to 3000m. For medium-shallow conventional vertical wells and low-deviation directional wells, the maximum working depth is ≤3000m. For shallow coalbed methane wells, the recommended depth is ≤1500m, and for geothermal or hydrogeological wells, ≤2500m.

Q Can this cable be used in wells containing H₂S, CO₂, or high-salinity formation water?

Yes. The 316L/A825 stainless steel tube armoring and FEP fluoroplastic insulation provide excellent resistance to corrosive media including H₂S, CO₂, and Cl⁻. It is well-suited for medium-temperature corrosive oil & gas wells and formations with high-salinity water.

Q What is the maximum allowable tool weight when using this cable?

The maximum recommended working tension is 2.75kN. Tool weights exceeding 80kg will quickly surpass this limit, which can significantly reduce cable service life or cause immediate breakage. It is essential to verify tool weight before deployment.

Q Is this cable suitable for use in horizontal wells?

This cable is suitable for low-deviation directional wells with build-up sections ≤45° (conditionally up to ≤60°) and long-radius horizontal wells with short horizontal sections of ≤500m. It is strictly not recommended for high-deviation wells (>60°) or long-horizontal-section wells with horizontal sections exceeding 500m.

Q What wellbore diameter range is this cable designed for?

This cable is optimized for small-bore and micro-bore wells with wellbore diameters ≤100mm, including thin-walled casing wells such as φ73mm and φ89mm casing. It is not suitable for large-bore wells with wellbore diameters exceeding 200mm.

Q What is the maximum bottomhole temperature this cable can withstand?

The FEP fluoroplastic insulation has a temperature rating of 200℃ (392℉). This cable is applicable for bottomhole temperatures up to 200℃, covering medium-temperature corrosive wells, geothermal wells, and coalbed methane wells. It is strictly not suitable for ultra-high temperature wells where bottomhole temperature exceeds 200℃.
