GX-W-2B1-2A1a-GB-5.6 ( 732”), 8.0mm, 2 SM+2 MM Optical Fiber

This is an optical logging cable with an outer diameter of 5.6 mm. Its structure consists of 4 optical fibers as conductors, wrapped with a steel tube; a layer of polypropylene is extruded outside the steel tube, and it is armored with double-layer steel wires. It has a maximum operating temperature up to ≤150 ℃. Used for DTS, DAS, DVS, High Speed Data Transmission, Real Time Monitoring while well intervention, VSP.

    Applicable Well Types

    1. Conventional Oil & Gas Wells

    Adaptable Well Types: Medium-deep vertical wells (depth ≤ 6000m), medium-deviation directional wells (≤ 60°), cased wells, open-hole wells, high friction wells, abrasive wells.

    Typical Applications: Deep oil & gas exploration wells, production dynamic monitoring, deep open-hole logging, high-friction well operations, old well re-logging.

    2. Unconventional Oil & Gas Wells

    Adaptable Well Types: Shale gas long-radius horizontal wells (horizontal section ≤ 1500m), coalbed methane (CBM) wells, tight oil & gas wells, deviated development wells.

    Typical Applications: Shale gas horizontal well fracturing monitoring, CBM well production monitoring, tight reservoir dynamic monitoring, permanent downhole monitoring.

    3. Other Exploration & Engineering Wells

    Adaptable Well Types: Geothermal wells (≤ 150℃), hydrogeological exploration wells, coal mine underground monitoring wells, water injection wells, observation wells.

    Typical Applications: Geothermal resource monitoring, groundwater detection, coal mine gas monitoring, water injection profile monitoring.

    Strictly Inapplicable Scenarios

    1.Wells deeper than 6000m: exceeds mechanical bearing limit.

    2.Ultra-high temperature wells (> 150℃): causes insulation aging and signal attenuation.

    3.High-deviation wells (> 60°) and short-radius horizontal wells: unsuitable for sharp bending.

    4.Extremely severe corrosive environments with ultra-high H₂S/CO₂ without special corrosion treatment.
