W4B-4.70 MULTICONDUCTOR ( 3/16" ) AWG 20 Wireline Logging Cable

The W4B(4H-185A)-4.7 is a 4.7mm outer-diameter four-core wireline logging cable with polypropylene (PP) insulation. It is suitable for onshore normal-temperature, non-corrosive, medium-shallow well conditions, and particularly designed for logging and workover operations requiring simultaneous multi-parameter transmission.

Core Applicable Well Types and Operation Scenarios

    1. Normal-Temperature Conventional Production Wells

Applicable Conditions: Straight or directional wells (with a build rate ≤ 30°) with downhole temperature ≤ 150℃ and well depth ≤ 4000m.

Applicable Operations: Routine four-parameter logging, production logging in cased wells, and shallow reservoir multi-parameter monitoring.

    2. Onshore Shallow/Medium-Deep Oil & Gas Wells

Applicable Conditions: Shallow wells (≤ 2000m) and medium-deep wells (2000–4000m) with normal formation temperature (≤ 150℃).

Applicable Operations: Shallow reservoir evaluation, formation physical property testing, and daily production dynamic monitoring.

    3. Low-Risk Old Well Recommissioning/Workover Wells

Applicable Conditions: Mature oil wells with only slight scaling or minor borehole constriction, no corrosion, and downhole temperature ≤ 120℃.

Applicable Operations: Simple workover logging, basic casing integrity testing (CCL), and shallow well scraping auxiliary operations.

    4. Onshore Conventional Exploration Wells/Mining Monitoring Wells

Applicable Conditions: Onshore shallow exploration wells with stable formation temperature and pressure, and no corrosive gases/fluids; wellbore trajectories are regular, with no high-curvature horizontal sections.

Applicable Operations: Initial formation evaluation, multi-parameter logging after drilling and completion, and daily working condition monitoring of mining wells.

    Strictly Inapplicable Scenarios

    1. High-Temperature Wells (downhole continuous temperature > 150℃) and Deep/Ultra-Deep Wells.

    2. Sulfur-Containing Wells (with H₂S/CO₂) and Corrosive Fluid Environments.

    3. High-Curvature Horizontal Wells (curvature radius < 300m) and Wells with Severe Friction/SCalingUnable to withstand extreme bending and severe downhole friction, prone to insulation layer damage, armoring wear, and core breakage.

    4. Geothermal Wells, High-Pressure Well Testing, and Heavy Oil Wells

    5. Offshore Oil & Gas Wells/High-Salt Spray Environments
