WGSB-2.56 MONOCONDUCTOR ( 1/10" ) AWG 24 Wireline Logging Cable

The WGSB-2.56 wireline logging cable is an economic general-purpose type for normal-temperature and non-corrosive conventional well conditions, with the advantages of high cost performance, stable mechanical properties and easy on-site operation. It is the preferred cable for routine logging operations in onshore shallow/mid-depth oil and gas fields with low formation temperature and no corrosive medium, and is suitable for batch routine well logging construction with low operation cost requirements.

    Core Applicable Well Types

    1. Normal-Temperature Conventional Production Wells (Open Hole/Cased Hole)

    Applicability: Vertical/directional wells (build rate ≤30°) with continuous downhole temperature ≤150℃, well depth ≤3000m; no H₂S/CO₂ corrosive medium, standard wellbore conditions without severe abrasion.

    Operations: Routine open-hole logging, cased-hole production logging, standard perforating and coring.

    2. Shallow/Mid-Depth Oil & Gas Wells

    Applicability: Shallow/mid-depth wells (≤3000m) with normal formation temperature (≤150℃); neutral downhole fluid environment, no scaling or minor scaling wellbores.

    Operations: Shallow reservoir evaluation, formation parameter testing, routine production monitoring; matches standard logging winches and basic downhole tools.

    3. Low-Risk Old Well Recommissioning Wells

    Applicability: Mature wells with only minor scaling or slight wellbore restriction, no corrosion and temperature ≤150℃; moderate downhole drag, no extreme tension requirements.

    Operations: Simple workover logging, basic casing inspection (CCL); used with ordinary casing collar locators and scraper tools.

    4. Onshore Routine Exploration Wells

    Applicability: Onshore shallow exploration wells with stable formation conditions, normal temperature and pressure, no corrosive gas/fluid.

    Operations: Formation initial evaluation, well logging for basic parameter acquisition; fits field conventional logging operation requirements.

    Incompatible Scenarios

    1. High-temperature wells (continuous temperature>150℃) and deep wells (>3000m);

    2. Sour service wells (with H₂S/CO₂) and corrosive fluid environments;

    3. High-curvature horizontal wells (radius<300m) and wellbores with severe abrasion/scaling;

    4. Geothermal wells, ultra-deep oil/gas wells and high-pressure well testing operations;
