The WGSB-5.6 is a mono-conductor wireline logging cable with an outer diameter of 5.6mm, mainly adopting a structure of modified polypropylene (PP) insulation + double steel wire armoring. It has a temperature resistance rating of 150℃, focusing on onshore medium-deep wells and conventional logging/perforation/coring operations.

    Core Applicable Well Types and Operation Scenarios

    1. Conventional Logging Operations in Onshore Medium-Deep Wells

    Applicable Conditions: Straight or directional wells with a build rate ≤ 30°, well depth 2000–6000m, continuous downhole temperature ≤ 135℃ (short-term up to 150℃), neutral fluid environment (no H₂S/CO₂ corrosion), and regular wellbore trajectories.

    Suitable Operations: Routine logging of open hole/cased holes (acquisition of resistivity, sonic, density, etc.), production dynamic monitoring, and basic logging evaluation after completion.

    2. Perforation and Coring Operations in Oil & Gas Wells

    Applicable Conditions: Perforation construction in medium-deep wells (without extreme high-temperature and high-pressure conditions), conventional core coring operations, moderate friction resistance in wellbore, and no severe scaling/restriction.

    Suitable Operations: Coordinate with perforating guns for perforation in medium-deep wells, and complete signal transmission and depth control during core coring, meeting the needs of mechanical load-bearing and power supply.

    3. Low-Risk Old Well Recommissioning and Simple Workover

    Applicable Conditions: Mature old wells with only slight scaling and minor wellbore constriction, downhole temperature ≤ 135℃, and no acidic corrosion. Workover operations focus on basic detection and simple modification.

    Suitable Operations: Casing integrity testing of old wells, auxiliary scraping operations, and basic logging verification before recommissioning. Compatible with light-duty workover tools and single-core monitoring equipment.

    4. Onshore Conventional Exploration Wells and Geological Monitoring

    Applicable Conditions: Onshore shallow to medium-deep exploration wells and coalfield geological survey wells with stable formation temperature and pressure, no corrosive media, and no high-curvature horizontal sections in wellbore.

    Suitable Operations: Initial formation evaluation, single-parameter logging after drilling and completion, and geological dynamic monitoring, meeting the needs of low-cost, stable transmission for batch exploration wells.

    Strictly Inapplicable Scenarios

    1. High-Temperature Wells (continuous temperature > 150℃) and Ultra-Deep Wells.

    2. Sulfur-Containing/Acid-Corrosive Wells (H₂S/CO₂ environment).

    3. High-Curvature Horizontal Wells (curvature radius < 300m) and Wells with Severe Friction/Scaling.

    4. Geothermal Wells, High-Pressure Well Testing, and Heavy Oil Wells.

    5. Offshore Oil & Gas Wells and High-Salt Spray Environments.
