WGSB-3.5 MONOCONDUCTOR ( 1/8" ) AWG 24 Wireline Logging Cable

The WGSB-3.5 is a mono-conductor wireline logging cable with 3.5mm outer diameter. The PP (Polypropylene) insulation version is a cost-effective general-purpose type for normal-temperature, non-corrosive, shallow to medium-depth conventional well conditions. Benefiting from better mechanical wear resistance due to its slightly larger outer diameter, it is suitable for basic operations such as routine logging and simple workover in shallow to medium-depth wells.

    Core Applicable Well Types

    1. Normal-Temperature Conventional Production Wells (Open Hole/Cased Hole)

Applicability: Vertical/directional wells (build rate ≤30°) with continuous downhole temperature ≤150°C and well depth ≤4000m.

Operations: Routine open-hole logging, cased-hole production logging, standard perforating, conventional coring.

    2. Onshore Shallow/Medium-Deep Oil & Gas Wells

Applicability: Shallow wells (≤2000m) and medium-deep wells (2000-4000m) with normal formation temperature (≤150°C).

Operations: Shallow reservoir evaluation, basic formation parameter testing, daily production dynamic monitoring.

    3. Low-Risk Old Well Recommissioning/Simple Workover Wells

Applicability: Mature wells with only minor scaling and slight hole restriction, free of corrosion and with downhole temperature ≤150°C.

Operations: Simple workover logging, basic casing inspection (CCL), auxiliary scraper operations in shallow wells.

    4. Onshore Conventional Exploration/Development Wells

Applicability: Onshore shallow exploration wells with stable formation temperature and pressure and no corrosive gas/fluid, as well as shallow to medium-depth production wells for low-yield and conventional development; regular wellbore trajectory without high-curvature sections.

Operations: Initial formation evaluation, basic parameter acquisition logging after drilling and completion; meets the requirements of low-cost logging construction for batch conventional exploration wells in oilfields.

     Strictly Incompatible Scenarios

    1. High-temperature wells (continuous downhole temperature >150°C) and deep/ultra-deep wells (well depth >4000m).

    2. Sour service wells (containing H₂S/CO₂) and corrosive fluid environments.

    3. High-curvature horizontal wells (curvature radius <300m) and wellbores with severe friction/scaling.

    4. Geothermal well operations, high-pressure well testing, and heavy oil well operations.

    5. Offshore oil & gas well operations.
